Contains: Maca Root, Wild Yam, Chaste Tree Berries (Vitex), and Raspberry Leaves

Maka Root:
It is thought that Maca’s benefit to female fertility comes from its ability to restore hormonal balance. In particular, it is believed that Maca may help suppress estrogen dominance, and encourage a favorable estrogen/progesterone balance conducive to achieving pregnancy. Many women also report an increase in libido and sexual function when taking Maca.

Wild Yam:
Because of the connection between progesterone and the amount of endometrial lining, taking wild yam root after ovulation could aid in increasing progesterone, thereby enhancing the environment needed for implantation of a fertilized egg. The role of wild yam in equalizing some of the hormones in the body can make it suitable for regulating the body’s menstrual cycles as well, providing better prediction of ovulation and menstruation for women who are trying to conceive.

Chaste Tree Berries (Vitex):
Vitex has been found to help normalize ovulation, improve a short luteal phase and reduce Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), all known fertility inhibitors. In one study, vitex helped normalize progesterone levels and increased the luteal phase from 5.4 days to 11.4 days. In addition, two double-blind studies show vitex extract increases a woman’s fertility and chances of successful conception.

Red Raspberry Leaf:
The relaxation effect of red raspberry leaves on the uterine muscles may work to help prevent early miscarriage and to assist early embryos in attaching to the uterine wall. The phyto-progesterone quality can increase progesterone levels.
